Hotel accommodation
A lot of thought has gone into making your stay as comfortable as possible, and the standards at Casa Do Sol are constantly upgraded.
Type A Casas, are standard double rooms with bathrooms en-suite. Wooden cottage pane doors lead out to the gardens.
Type B Villas, are double rooms with a lounge area, bathroom en-suite, a fully stocked cocktail cabinet and private enclosed garden.
Type C and D Suites, are luxury apartments. Each has a double room, bathroom en suite and separate cloakroom. A comfortable and spacious sitting room, fully stocked cocktail cabinet and private enclosed garden add to your comfort.
The Type D Upstairs Suites have a private patio overlooking the valley. A wide choice of accommodation caters for all tastes.
Casas and Villas are situated on either side of a cobbled street. Suites are clustered around a picturesque green where O'Estabulo Restaurant and a cosy bar create a village atmosphere.
Type E the Executive Suite, a luxury duplex unit, is a haven of peace, tranquillity and privacy, in its own enclosed garden.
All accommodation has air conditioning, Satellite TV, radio, and telephones. Fresh fruit and flowers are replaced daily.
Restaurants
Casa do Sol is renowned for the excellence of its food, and its exceptional wines. In part, this is because of the skill of the chefs; in part, it is because the vegetables, fruit and dairy products used in the Casa do Sol kitchens are farm-grown - and only the best and freshest from the estate are used. Casa do Sol features the Cozinha Velha restaurant, the O Estabulo a la Carte superior restaurant, the Chiquitas bar and bar-restaurant as well as two Braai areas.
Facilities
The pool area is sheer magic. The crystal waters of two swimming pools are surrounded by tropical gardens which have justifiably won awards for their lush colours and serene beauty - an environment sure to lull you into a state of gentle euphoria. Leisure activities include horse-riding, bass fishing, wildlife tours, golf, hiking and bird watching. All sporting facilities and equipment - except golf - are exclusively available to Casa do Sol quests at no charge.
